 g. \nObituary for Leslie Brown\nSeptember 2\, 1952 – October 14\, 2026\
nLeslie Migneault Brown\, 74\, of Pleasanton\, died peacefully at home on
October 14\, 2026\, after a courageous battle with cancer.\nLeslie was bor
 n September 2\, 1952\, in Norfolk\, Virginia\, to Hector and Irene Migneau
lt. She grew up in a busy\, close-knit house with six siblings: five siste
 rs\, Ann Marie\, Susan\, Patty\, Mary\, and Nancy\, and a brother\, Willia
 m. The strong bonds she shared with her siblings were a testament to the l
ove and unity that defined her family. She graduated from Awalt High Schoo
l in Mountain View\, CA\, in 1970 and earned a BA in Physical Education fr
om San Jose State University in 1974.\nOn August 25\, 1973\, she married D
onald Brown at Mission Santa Clara. Leslie later earned a Bachelor of Scie
nce in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and spent her career a
s a registered nurse in home health and discharge planning\, including at
UC Davis Medical Center. Her patients got her full attention and her full
heart.\nShe was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasanton
\, where she taught Sunday School and helped run Vacation Bible School eve
ry summer. She enjoyed the camaraderie golfing with her groups at Callippe
Preserve and Pleasanton golf courses\, and volunteering at the Alameda Co
unty Fair. Everywhere she went\, she brought a bubbly personality\, a quic
k wit\, and a story. Usually an embellished one\, and well worth it. One s
tory:  as a child her Mother bought rain coats for the three youngest sis
ters\, small\, medium and large\, Leslie being the oldest of the three had
first choice and picked the small raincoat which fit her perfectly and of
f to school she went. That left the largest raincoat for the youngest sist
er\, which dragged on the ground and her Mother insisted she wear it.\nLes
lie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William. She is s
urvived by Donald\, her loving husband of 53 years\; her children\, Devon
 [Andy] and William [Alana]\; her grandchildren\, Cameryn\, Maddyn\, Aidan\
, and Rawley\; and all five of her sisters.\nA celebration of life will be
held Saturday\, November 14\, 2026\, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Chur
ch\, 1225 Hopyard Rd\, Pleasanton\, CA. In lieu of flowers\, the family as
ks that donations be made in Leslie’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.
